Properties:
Juvéderm Ultra® has the following advantages:

   • Has the same composition as the former Surgiderm, but with an anesthetic (Lidocaïne) as additive
   • Contains no animal ingredients (so less chance of allergic reactions)
   • No need for skin test (unless your doctor decides otherwise considering your medical history)
   • Completely biologically degradable
   • Your system recognizes the product as body own material so no rejection will occur
   • The esthetic outcome is visible at once and gives a natural and long lasting result


Where to apply?
Juvéderm Ultra has several different compounds depending on the degree of molecular binding (cross-linking). As a result you can get the best materials for every type of wrinkle:


• Surgiderm 18 / Juvéderm Ultra 2 for the very superficial lines,
• Juvéderm Ultra 3 for the medium deep lines and wrinkles and
• Juvéderm Ultra 4 for the real deep folds
• Juvéderm Lips has been developed specifically to accentuate your lips or to embellish the contours:

The average duration of the effect of a treatment with Surgiderm / Juvéderm is one year. Juvéderm is injected intradermal, i.e. in the upper layer of the skin. The result is visible immediately.
After the treatment the skin is cooled with a cold pack to reduce a possible swelling of the treated area. Hyaluronix Acid is by nature a hygroscopic material that will attract fluid from the surrounding tissue. in most cases your doctor will make a new appointment after 2 or 3 weeks to evaluate the result. If necessary a touch-up can be performed to optimize the initial effect.
Riscs and possible complications:
Every wrinkle treatment has a very small risc of an infection or a small bleeding (blue spot). Are you known to have an allergy for lidocaine, xylocaine of procaine, then we will discuss the possibility of using an alternative filler. However, considering the composition of Juvéderm Ultra such a reaction because of other causes is not likely to happen.
In the rare case of an infection you will be treated adequately with an antibiotic.
Sometimes after the administration of the filler small touchable nodules can be felt. The origin of these hardenings is not yet properly known. Such irregularities most of the time don't last long and disappear by itself after a few weeks. A specific after-treatment of these nodules is not necessary.
Pricing and payment:

The price of the initial visit is € 40, and will be deducted from the final price if you decide to undergo treatment within 2 months.
If you cancel an appointment later than 24 hours in advance or if you don't show up on the arranged time, also a price of €40 will be charged.

You'll receive an estimate of the total cost of the agreed upon treatment before treatment commences.
We can only accept cash and credit card payment ("pinnen") before treatment and will always provide you with a receipt. "Chippen" is not possible.
