The Obagi NuDerm FX® products you use during the day are designed in a system with a specific balanced composition, dosage and frequency to maximize your results.
It replaces all products you used to apply until now, so don’t use other cosmetic skin care products as they interfere.
Nu-Derm FX uses the following products depending on the type of skin (normal-dry or normal-oily); also a description of each product is given.
Finally your doctor will discuss with you which package provides the best treatment for you.

|

|
A mild, gel-based cleanser that gently removes impurities, oil, and makeup to leave skin clean and fresh.
|

Toner
|
A toner that adjusts the pH of the skin for increased penetration of the following system ingredients.

Obagi Professional-C serum (not in the package)
|
Our unique formula provides greater penetration of ingredients than other Vitamin C products — delivering greater antioxidant benefit to your skin!
Slows down aging.

IMPROVE
|

Clear-FX (possibly with hydrochinon)
|
A topical non-prescription treatment that includes a skin brightener formulated with arbutin and antioxidants to even and enhance the appearance of skin tone. (if necessary hyrochinon can be added on prescription)

Exfoderm®
|
A plant acid (3% phytic acid) that removes old skin cells while promoting new skin cells for a lighter, brighter complexion.
|
|
Exfoderm® Forte
|
An alpha-hydroxy acid (6% glycolic acid, 4% lactic acid) that removes superficial old skin cells while promoting new skin cells for a lighter, brighter, firmer complexion for skin that needs deeper exfoliation.

Healthy Skin Protection SPF 35
|
A sunscreen with 9% micronized zinc oxide and 7.5% octinoxate that helps to protect newly transformed, younger-looking skin.

Physical UV Block SPF 32Sun
|
A sunscreen with 18.5% zinc oxide that helps to protect the newer, healthier skin created by skin transformation. 2.0 oz (57 g)

After your start with the treatment the following effects are normal:
- Redness
- Desquamation (flakes)
- Drought
- Acne breakouts
- Irritation
- Darkening of the pigment
- Clearer visibility of lines through the drought
- Slight swelling
All of these symptoms are normal and will disappear if the treatment is continued and can be reduced by applying the following products:
