Lipolysis

For small areas of subcutaneous fat the lipolysis treatment was very much in favor to liposuction.

Lipolysis is performed with thin needles and a medical solution and doesn’t leave a scar as liposuction does. You don’t need extra sedation or anesthesia. or hospitalization.

Lipolysis is a technique that should only be performed by doctors who have been trained how and where to do it. That means they need a membership of the Network Lipolysis (an European organization) that monitors the quality of both product as doctors.

Rimpelconsult has been a member for many years now and all significant workshops to improve performance and quality and to get informed and trained about new techniques, have been followed.
The result is that Rimpelconsult never had any problems after their treatments.

A couple of years ago severe side effects have been reported in only two patients, who (elsewhere) haven't been treated according to the guidelines.
After an (in my opinion ill-founded)  investigation by our Governmental Inspection for the Healthcare they have concluded that all clinics in the Netherlands have to stop at once with this treatment on penalty of a huge fine, suspension or even to be expelled from the profession. Steps have been taken to challenge this decision but this will take some time.

THEREFORE RIMPELCONSULT HAS STOPPED ALL LIPOLYSIS TREATMENTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
