Skin Rejuvenation by Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a treatment technique, developed by Michel Pistor, where the administration of a compound upon or into the skin produces a better blood flow. This will enhance a restorative and ameliorative effect of the tissue underneath the skin.

We distinguish two mechanisms of the used compound in the treatment, based on Mesotherapy.

The first one uses Hyaluronic acid, a natural constituent of the skin that gives the skin its natural elasticity and volume. 
The mesotherapy will compensate the lack of hyaluronic acid. 
Furthermore, the hyaluronic acid can be mixed with Xylocaine as analgesic for greater patient comfort. Finally the compound is further supplemented with a mixture of vitamins and minerals (such as 135HA, click for a detailed compilation here), that improves the blood flow and metabolism of the tissue under the skin. 
Also the area with thinner skin under the eyes and in the neck and upper chest as well as the back side of the hands (if the skin dídn’t become too thin) can be treated with this technique of mesotherapy. The effect of this mesotherapy for aesthetic purposes will be noticed after the first three to four treatments: your skin gets a much tighter, leaner, stronger and therefore younger appearance.

Method

After completing a health questionnaire and make a color picture of the treatment area, the skin is desinfected and the compound will be injected in the skin or subcutaneously with a very thin needle. Anesthesia isn’t needed: The puncture of the skin is fully automatic with the “Mesogun ". This is a device that lets a very thin needle move with air pressure up and down very fast and very precisely at the proper depth with the right amount of fluid.

You feel only a prick when the needle enters the skin and the NCTF 135HA ® can also be mixed with an analgesic (Xylocaine) to make the treatment even more less unpleasant. Especially for the area under the eyes this Mesogun has a great advantage for the patient because the sensitivity here is reduced to a minimum. After treatment, redness and minor bruising may occur, but if you have the treatment at the end of the day, you can continue your normal activities in most cases the next day.

Number of treatments and results

The treatment consists of a series of 6 (8 times, depending on skin type to 10 to 12 treatments) with more than one posen: in the first month and once every 7-10 days thereafter depending on the first 2 times of 1 result times per Month

To have an effect to maintain or repeat sessions every two years or half years (depending on skin type) necessary (not a complete series!).
